or WHY YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT MATTERS!

Every September as our students begin a new year PTA resumes its role of advocating for all students, while working to improve the health, safety and education of our students at Lincoln Middle School.

If you have been a public school parent in California, you know that PTA also plays a critical role in raising funds to supplement woefully inadequate state and federal funding.

Lincoln Middle School has long been known for providing its students with the highest caliber education. In order to sustain this level of excellence, our PTA reaches out to the community to help finance critically needed materials and support for our students, teachers and classrooms, and to fund creative and innovative programs.

Every fall Lincoln PTSA launches its Annual Campaign for Direct Investment by asking for a direct financial contribution from each of our school families.This Annual Campaign is the school’s single largest fundraiser of the year. Without this financial assistance, the school would simply have to “do without” on critically needed funds. But with your help, our students can continue to receive the superior middle school experience we’ve come to expect at Lincoln.

Your Annual Campaign donations will help pay for:

• Classroom technology upgrades (tablet PCs, computers, LCD projectors)
• Math Night, Writing Night and other educational evenings
• Extra-curricular afterschool drama program
• Teacher and classroom supplies
• Peer mediation program
• Online, accessible student grade reports
• Upgrading of student lockers
• Second set of textbooks for every student.
  
  

Please give whatever you can comfortably give. Whether it's $10,$100 or $1,000, your donation demonstrates your support for our school programs. Every donation gets us closer to our goal of 100% family participation.

HOW TO DONATE NOW:

1. Click the appropriate “DONATE” button above, and you will be transferred directly to PayPal’s Lincoln Middle School Donation form. YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT TO MAKE A DONATION ONLINE.
   
   - Direct Investment: see description below.
   - Core Donation: Families may donate up to $50 per student per school year to their child’s Core. Teachers in each Core may use these funds for Core-related activities and supplies.
   - Earthquake/Emergency Preparedness Fund: Families may contribute to this fund to help the school pay for basic emergency supplies for the students.
   - Hospitality/Teacher Appreciation Events: Many families support our teacher appreciation breakfasts and lunches throughout the year by bringing food items. As an alternative, you may donate to a fund that enables the PTSA to purchase necessary items for these events.
