HOW TO DONATE NOW:

  1. Click the appropriate “DONATE” button above, and you will be transferred directly to PayPal’s Lincoln Middle School Donation form. YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT TO MAKE A DONATION ONLINE.

     - Direct Investment: see description below.
    - Core Donation: Families may donate up to $50 per student per school year to their child’s Core. Teachers in each Core may use these funds for Core-related activities and supplies.
    - Earthquake/Emergency Preparedness Fund: Families may contribute to this fund to help the school pay for basic emergency supplies for the students.
    - Hospitality/Teacher Appreciation Events: Many families support our teacher appreciation breakfasts and lunches throughout the year by bringing food items. As an alternative, you may donate to a fund that enables the PTSA to purchase necessary items for these events.

WHAT IS DIRECT INVESTMENT?

Direct Investment is the Lincoln Middle School PTSA’s ongoing campaign to raise funds from the community to directly support the school’s educational efforts.

Lincoln Middle School has long been known for providing our children with the highest caliber education. Given the current California and federal budget crises, financial support for our local public schools from these sources is at an all-time low. In order to maintain the level of excellence in education that we expect at LMS, the PTSA must look to the community to help fund school programs and purchase critical supplies for students, teachers and classrooms.

WHAT DOES DIRECT INVESTMENT DO?

The Direct Investment Drive is the PTSA’s primary source of fundraising for the school year. With your donations, we can help the staff at Lincoln Middle School continue to provide all of our students with a superior educational experience, by funding:
*more computers, Smart Boards, tablet PCs and other technology in the classroom;
* a second set of textbooks for students for use both at home and at school;
* expansion of the school library’s collection;
* educational evenings for students and families (Math Night, Writing Night and special guest speakers);
* peer mediation program led by the LA County Bar Association;
* after-school student drama program (2 productions per year);
* after-school fine arts class;
* library supervision before and after school hours;
* grade-level assemblies and supplemental curricular programs.

Please, invest in your students’ futures by investing directly in their education!
