HOMEWORK HOTLINE

Instructions:
Homework is assigned on a regular basis to help students become more self-reliant, learn to work independently, improve skills taught, master concepts and complete assigned projects. Appropriate weekend homework may also be given. The daily amount of time required for homework will vary depending on the maturity, abilities and individual needs of students as well as the requirements of the course.
Assignments are designed so the typical student can complete the homework within the following time frame:
- 6th Grade: 20-25 minutes per class
- 7th Grade: 20-30 minutes per class
- 8th Grade: 30-40 minutes per class
Find a quiet, well-lighted place at home to do your homework. Review your class notes to help study for tests.
It is the student's responsibility to contact the school to receive their homework assignments. Students can receive their assignments by calling the teacher's homework hotline, access the Lincoln website to read the teacher's homework web page, or contact a study buddy.
Parents may request homework assignments from the Counseling Office if the absence is three days or more.
