8th Grade Beach Day

Tuesday, June 6, 2017
(Ineligible at 210 detention minutes)

There will be NO AM CLASSES on Beach Day. Students will meet in their Homebase class in the morning for first period.

Students and teachers will leave Lincoln as a group at 9:15AM, walk to the beach, and return to Lincoln at approximately 3:00PM. Eighth grade core teachers will supervise.

Students should bring small coolers with lunches since there are limited places to purchase food. (Students who typically buy lunch at Lincoln may pre-arrange to pick up a school lunch bag for the day. Coordinate this with your Homebase teacher or Ms. Loewy.)

This is a walking field trip so students should only bring items that they can carry.

Students who are ineligible to attend will stay at Lincoln and work on alternate assignments. School staff will supervise.

8th Grade Assembly/Yearbook Signing Day

Wednesday, June 7, 2017
(Ineligible at 180 detention minutes)

Students will meet in their Homebase classes in the morning for first period.

Periods 1-3: Students will be in the auditorium for an 8th Grade Assembly with awards and presentations.

Periods 4-6: After lunch, students will meet in their Homebases again to pick up any pre-purchased yearbooks. Teachers will then take all 8th grade homebases to the front lawn and patios for yearbook signing. Any extra yearbooks may be purchased with cash by the flagpole at that time. Students may participate in yearbook signing without purchasing a yearbook. For any students who need financial assistance, please see Ms. Loewy.

Students who are ineligible to participate in yearbook signing will be working on alternate assignments in a supervised classroom.
